Launch of Taiwan Surfactant’s Inaugural Solar Power Plant.

We are pleased to announce a significant milestone in Taiwan Surfactant’s commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

In early 2023, Taiwan Surfactant successfully attained certification for Energy Management System (ISO 50001:2018), underscoring our dedication to efficient energy management practices. Building upon this achievement, we are delighted to share that in January 2024, we have inaugurated the first solar power plant, located atop the administrative building of our Guanyin Plant. With a capacity of 53.13 kW, it is projected to produce 60,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, resulting in an impressive reduction of 29.7 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year. Furthermore, the installation of rooftop solar panels will contribute to thermal insulation, thereby reducing the dependency on air conditioning units and advancing our energy conservation and carbon reduction objectives.

Taiwan Surfactant remains steadfast in our commitment to align with governmental policies promoting net-zero carbon emissions and international sustainability trends. We are dedicated to exploring and implementing various sustainable solutions as we continue to progress towards our overarching goal of corporate sustainable development.
